The Washington Self Storage Association is pleased to host this SSA MCC class in Sales & Human Relations, a keystone component of SSA's four- module Managers Certification Course (MCC).

This Course Module is a Step toward Receiving
the Prestigious SSA Certified Self Storage Manager (CSSM) Designation

This class is one module of four - Operations, Sales/Human Relations, Legal Issues, and Financial Management - offered on an ongoing basis at various locations around the country. The modules may be taken in any order and at any of the course locations. Those who complete all four modules of the course are eligible to take the exam required for certification. Those who pass the exam receive a diploma for their completion of the course and may register as candidates for the SSA Certified Self Storage Manager (CSSM) designation, the industry's most valued and prestigious certification.

PROGRAM CONTENT: MCC SALES & HUMAN RELATIONS MODULE

7:15 - 7:55 AM- CLASS CHECK-IN
8:00 AM - 12:00 NOON MCC SALES/HR MODULE
This module focuses on the broad issue of human relations, and in particular on effective sales skills and the manager's critical role in the overall success in marketing the facility.

Faculty: Carol Mixon Krendl
An MCC senior faculty member and industry leader with over twenty years of industry and training experience. The owner of Skilcheck Services, which specializes in consulting, training, management and mystery shopping, Krendl has been involved with self storage since 1984, during which time she was a corporate trainer for a self-storage developer with 69 properties. Since then, she has been involved with the management and development of over 130 self storage properties internationally. She has written a number of self storage manuals, as well as numerous articles for the major self storage industry publications. Active in industry leadership, she has served on the SSA Board of Directors and as vice president of the California Self Storage Association.
